NARMÖ

BIOGRAPHY

NARMÖ was born in Afghanistan and moved to the Netherlands at the age of seven, where he grew up. From an early age, music was always close — a presence he couldn't quite shake.

In 2014, he and a friend started throwing their own parties. That's when he first got behind the decks. Around the same time, a teammate at his football club introduced him to FL Studio — and just like that, producing became part of the picture. He knew early on he wanted to take both seriously, and in 2016 he started taking music production lessons in the Netherlands.

The years that followed were spent producing, performing, and growing. By 2018 he had secured his first international residencies, and in 2019 his first releases landed — well received, and quickly followed by shows across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Greece, radio interviews, and a wave of collaborations within the Dutch dancehall, moombahton, and hip-hop scene.

After the pandemic, he felt it was time for something more personal. More emotion. More depth. A sound that was truly his. In 2024, NARMÖ was born. That November, he released his first afro house track through Rikodisco and Warner Music. The music NARMÖ makes is groovy and deeply emotional — designed to take the listener on a journey. A sound rooted in feeling, built to last.

"I want to make tracks that move me personally — and share that with the world. Music that fits more than one moment. Music that feels timeless."

In April 2025, he dropped Nime — a track that spread internationally through reels and TikToks. Seeing listeners connect with his music on that level, and feeling the love they send back, is what drives him.

"I do this for everyone my music touches. I see your love — and I appreciate every single one of you."
